PM porous proppant is also called gear-shaped protective agent or AIG gear-shaped protective agent according to its appearance. It is a new type of catalyst proppant and protective agent in petrochemical hydrogenation, hydrogen production, reforming and other devices. This product is a unique structural design adopted by our company based on the comprehensive foreign technology. The proppant is made into a porous plum blossom column (gear shape), so that when it is placed sideways and subjected to force, there are more than two load-bearing lines at the bottom or top, which increases the load capacity and improves the lateral pressure strength; the size design of the petals and the axial opening can increase the porosity of the supporting medium, thereby reducing the pressure drop of the catalyst bed. The proppant was compared with similar products. The results showed that the PM proppant has a 30% increase in strength and a 45% increase in porosity compared with traditional proppant. It solves some defects encountered by general catalyst inert proppant and other supporting materials. For example, commonly used proppant are spherical, cylindrical, annular, etc., but the spherical and cylindrical carriers have high strength but low porosity and large bed resistance; the annular carrier has high porosity but low strength and is easy to break, affecting the use efficiency of the catalyst and the device. At the same time, the product is resistant to high temperatures, with ceramics resistant to temperatures up to 1280°C and corundum resistant to temperatures up to 1650°C.

PM proppants are mainly used in petroleum refining, environmental protection, coal chemical industry, etc. to replace inert alumina proppants, inert ceramic balls, and perforated ceramic balls. The details are as follows:

1. Fixed bed reactors such as hydrogenation, hydrogen production, catalytic reforming, product refining, and light hydrocarbon processing in petroleum refining.

2. Petrochemical industries such as ethylbenzene, styrene, polypropylene, acrylonitrile, PTA, and inorganic chemicals such as synthetic ammonia and hydrogen peroxide.
