Research Status of Semi-regenerative Reforming Catalysts in China

In 1965, the first set of 100,000 t/a semi-regenerative catalytic reforming researched, designed and built by my country was put into operation in Daqing Refinery, using the first domestically produced Pt/γ-Al2O3 catalyst.
In recent years, my country has made new breakthroughs in the research and development of metal asymmetric catalysts. Among them, HR-21 high-rhenium and low-platinum catalysts and PR-B high-platinum rhenium catalysts have also been deeply developed, and the device application effect is good. . As far as the semi-regenerative reforming catalyst is concerned, the research trend is mainly to increase the rhenium content of the catalyst, reduce the amount of platinum, increase the rhenium/platinum ratio, improve the stability of the catalyst, and reduce the reaction pressure. Activated alumina carrier with suitable microstructure; metal asymmetric catalyst will replace symmetric catalyst and other aspects to be studied.
