If the gas and liquid raw materials contain ppm-level trace water, the above-mentioned purification process will be promoted. The reaction formula is:
COS+H2O = H2S+CO2
CS2+2H2O= 2H2S+CO2
H2S+ZnO = ZnS+H2O
If the content of organic sulfides such as COS in the raw material is high, an organic sulfur hydrolysis catalyst should be connected in series before CCTL-8A to ensure that the total sulfur content at the outlet of the bed is maintained below 0.1ppm.
When CCTL-8B is used, the effect is more obvious as the reaction temperature increases. As the temperature continues to rise, the sulfur capacity of CCTL-8B will increase significantly when the purification degree remains unchanged, thereby greatly extending the service life of the catalyst.
