The chemical composition of the DNCA-H type pre-reduction catalyst is equivalent to that of the DNCA type ammonia synthesis catalyst, and the main components are composed of certain trace element compounds such as Fe3O4, Al2O3, K2O, and CaO. The only difference is that its iron component has been reduced to α-Fe, and the protective layer is oxidized to Fe3O4.

Characteristics Of Pre-reduced Catalysts

1. The pre-reduction catalyst is treated before use, and the re-reduction time is about 35~42 hours, which saves the start-up time and can be transferred to production as soon as possible.

2. The reduction process is easy to control. After the catalyst is reduced, the active surface of the pre-reduction catalyst is covered with a thin and dense protective layer of ferrous oxide. The protective layer only accounts for 10% of the catalyst, and the reduction workload is only one tenth of the original.

3. The activation temperature is low. Under hydrogen-rich conditions, water starts to flow out at 220°C. At 315°C, the water output is relatively large, and it is activated at around 375°C. It has the characteristics of early water flow, small water flow, and easy activation.

4. According to the test, the protective film of DNCA-H is more uniform and obvious than that of other catalysts, which is estimated to be about 20×10-10m.

Industrial Use Conditions

Initial hot spot temperature: 460±5℃

Normal operating temperature zone: 350~500℃ Temperature rise and fall rate: 30~40℃/h

Normal operating pressure: 10.0 ~ 31.4Mpa Pressure-lifting rate: ≤0.5Mpa/min

Hydrogen nitrogen ratio: 1.8~2.6

Normal operating airspeed: 5000~30000hr-1, preferably with tower pressure difference ≤1.0Mpa

Loading of DNCA-H pre-reduction catalyst

During transportation and loading and unloading, it should be handled with care to avoid rolling down directly. The inside of the pre-reduced catalyst is a very active active substance. During the filling process, care should be taken to protect it with nitrogen. During the filling process, the free fall height of the particles should not exceed 2 meters, otherwise it should be slanted with a cloth bag. In summer, the furnace should be installed to avoid direct sunlight, and avoid contact between moisture and moisture and the catalyst. After filling, the inlet and outlet of all pipelines should be closed, and the temperature change of the catalyst bed should be detected by thermocouples. Once the temperature rises significantly, N2 gas should be used to purge and cool down.
